From fallen tree to finished piece
Working with arborists and conservation managers, we divert logs from the waste stream and mill them into 100% locally sourced lumber. We don't take living trees, and we give back to reforestation programs with services, goods, and dollars.
Rescue
Trees felled for development or conservation are saved from the chipper.
Mill
Slabbed on our own sawmill, right here on O'ahu.
Dry
Air-dried three months to three years, then kiln-finished.
Shape
Planed and cut by hand, following the grain. The wood is the boss.
Inlay & finish
Turquoise, chrysocolla & lapis set into the tree's scars; oiled and waxed food-safe.
